Our History
In 2010, our Board applied for and received our IRS 501(c)(3) status as a nonprofit corporation.
Big Sky Western Bank generously donated space for gathering, sorting, packaging, and shipping items collected, as a year-round donation and storage site. With their purchase of First Security Bank, the board of directors of AAS made arrangements for AAS to have a new home. The new location has been generously donated along with any additional costs incurred, such as utilities, taxes, dues, etc.
Distinguished Service Award from the Army National Guard
This statue of Isaac Davis, a Minute Man, who set unusually high standards for his company in terms of equipment, training, and preparedness in the American Revolution, represents the values of today’s Army National Guard. This award was presented to the Adopt A Sox team in appreciation for their dedication and support to the men and women of the Army National Guard who serve and defend freedom.
